| From Limitations to Possibilities! |

Hello [[name]],
What is usually your first reaction when faced with setbacks in your life? Do you immediately complain and wallow in self pity or do you take it in your strides thinking: "good, this is an an opportunity to see how committed I really am and to grow"?
Good for you, if you are are one of the few wiseacres who opt out for the latter. Statistics however show that in the face of hardships, only a very small percentage of people, approximately 2% out of 1000 people actually hold positive attitude towards challenges. And these very few are the ones who use the setbacks in their lives to motivate them to higher inspirations and greater success.
A great number of people simply bury themselves in their complains, doubts and self pity which only deplete their energy and demotivate them. I am sure you'll agree with me that once you feel demotivated, it is not easy to feel positive about anything afterwards.
I remember trying to help a client see how her beliefs about herself were limiting her to moving out of her present job which she detested. She truly believed that no one else would want to work with her once they get to see how slow she was at getting certain paper works done. And this was a lady of extremely remarkable organisa- tional skills, very reliable and adept at figuring out what needs to be done at crucial moments. A fantastic troubleshooter. Plus she has a great sense of humour!
She has focused all her attention on what she finds to be less than average and completely forgotten about all her wonderful assets and gifts!
Dwelling on your problems and weaknesses only mirror back your mistakes and lack of resources which then generate feelings of limitation and anxiety. When you change your perspective and focus on outcome, this gets you to imagine possibilities which you otherwise might easily overlook.
When forced to make some changes in your life things are usually pretty much up in the air, but if you quit simply because you feel discouraged, what you are actually saying is that you are incompetent at seeing things through. And since you have not yet even began to tap into your inner hidden power, I believe you're doing yourself a great injustice!
If on the contrary you stick to your guns and plod on well focused and committed, you attract the great forces in creation, which then begin to support your endeavours and guide you to success. Not to mention how it strengthens your self worth and boost your confidence!
YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED if you BELIEVE YOU WILL!
| REFLECTION |
 |
-Adjust your thinking and start looking for hidden possibilities in difficult situations instead of seeing them as limitations.
-Can you think of a time when you refused to give up on a project and you arrived at your desired goal? How did you feel?
-Friends either take you towards your goals or away from your goals. Beware of "border bullies" - these could be your friends, family, colleagues who are trying to keep you in your comfort zone. Even if they mean well, this is your life we are talking about!
-Never spend time with negative people, because they pull you down and influence your subconscious. Watch what you put into your subconsciousness.
-How can you implement something you've just learnt into your your life daily? This helps you become truly knowledgeable.
-Be selective about the people you share your hopes and dreams with. Choose those who really care about you, who you know are going to support you and want you to achieve your goal.
| ACTION POINT |
 |
- Create a blue print for your success by having a
concrete plan about what you want, and how to achieve it.
- Focus on the result you want by being outcome oriented
and not activity oriented.
- Step back and challenge some of your assumptions,
and while at it be honest about why you try to keep yourself in a "box" and examine what comes up.
- Broaden your horizon by widening your knowledge.
- Take a moment to consciously feel in your own body
how tension creates problems and release the tension by calmly breathing into the tensed area and breathing out while releasing the tension.

I am enclosing 2 useful links which I can warmly recommend to further help you deal better with various changes in your life.
1.The Holosnyc Audio Program is a technology of developmental tools for self mastery. It can create dramatic and lasting changes in your mental, emotional and spiritual level. The technology was developed in 1989 by Bill Harris and is now in utilisation by over 140,000 people in over 170 countries.
www.centerpointe.com You can listen to a free Holosync demonstration directly on the website. I highly recommend the program to anyone wanting to work consistently on lethargy. Plus it is a powerful tool for eliminating weariness. I have been applying the program daily since February 2004 with remarkable results.
2. Here is a website to help you break unhealthy habits for good.
www.motivatehealthyhabits.com
The guidebook Motivate Healthy Habits will help you transform your emotional resistance into effective motivation by going from:
• Surface change (gaining knowledge, thinking about change, developing skills and setting goals) to • Deep change (exploring your feelings, views, values and why you really want to change).
Dr. Rick Botelho is a family doctor with deep incentives for changes. Many pages on his website contain free downloadable materials. I hope you find some helpful materials for your situation.

"So what's the challenge in the first simulation?" asked Elan. "Resignation and hopelessness," answered the elder. "Many people set out with a goal in life. But when it becomes hazy or adversity sets in, they often succumb. These people let circumstances dictate their lives, never realizing that they have the power to change things"... - D. Trinidad Hunt
