Can Enhancing Intuition Reduce Depression and Fear?

July 29th, 2011

New Hope

Recently, I had a very interesting discussion with two wonderful women whom I have known for sometime.

One of the women mentioned that her sister has been depressed for a long time and she has been on medication the last 8 years. She was wondering why so many people fall into depression for “no apparent” reason and find it difficult to move out of it.

The other woman, nodded and went on to say that she feels that depression and fear often are related, especially when people have been through an emotional ordeal.

As I listened to both women with an open heart, I became empathic as they both offered their various observations and insights about two major problems in our world today.

Suddenly, I realized the deeper significance of depression and fear in the world. My intuition kicked in and I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t put these together before!

Emotions are powerful energy. Emotional ordeal usually erodes the power of the soul and therefore can render us vunerable to negative energies. As our world has become quite densed with strong negative energies surrounding us both in our physical world and etherically, it is clear that when emotional upheaval hits us the natural protective schild around our body – the aura may not be able to wade off the negativity effectively. This is because many people have weakened and to some extent, even destroyed their protective field.

Many people bombard their body for years with junk food, negative thoughts, unseemly actions and indulge in several other habits such as alcohol, drugs, excessive sex – things that weaken the solar plexus and nerves, the inner power and therefore deplete the soul the energy it requires to keep the aura strong and fully bonded with their intuition.

There are of course, other circumstances that can weaken the aura such as exhaustion and stress and even environmental contamination. Still, if we treat our body right on all levels of being – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, with a strong sense of purpose in life grounded in keeping a conscious balance and inner alertness, our intuition will be able to readily communicate to us in time to guide us and protect us. There would be no need for people to fall into depression and live in fear for the most part of their existence on Earth.

We are unable to find real solutions to many of the emotional and mental problems in the world today, because we refuse to acknowledge that we need higher knowledge that is beyond our intellectual skills.

May you find the strength to start reawakening the connection with your intuition for a clear and true balance in your life.

Challenges and Resolves

July 9th, 2011

One interesting thing I’ve come to appreciate over the years is that the older I get the clearer are my perceptions of day to day challenges.

I also recognize that whatever it is that we face in this life is truly there to mature our soul and render us more conscious of our choices and their consequences. Most times, we make a decision without fully being aware of the results they hold for us. This is because, consequences are often not so immediate as our choices.

This is why I believe that the more we work from our intuition, bonding with it to help us have more clarity and attune to how we are meant to be on Earth, the better will be the choices we make and thereby we can reap wonderful results.

I realize that learning from our impetuous actions is part of being here and growing. Yet, it can seem a long winding road for many of us, if we constantly experience the same challlenges repeatedly. So how does one become masterful at laying the “tedious ghost” to rest?

My answer is to become more alert and vigilant, listening more from within than from outside. I have found that whenever I compare what I am doing with what others are doing, I am doing a di-service to myself. I often feel demotivated and get frustrated afterwards. This mental state of being not only drags me down, but also blocks off my ability to ease into my intuitive guidance.

My resolution is to remain attuned to my energy and be fully connected with my volition and who I am. It is imperative to release all unnecessary expectations of others. The more you leave your inner channels open, the stronger and clearer the intuition gets.

Keep your resolves clear and strong and you’ll be amazed at the exceptional flood of power that gets trigger for your own miracle.

Which is my reason for creating a conscious path of helping others reconnect fully with their intuition, by living from intuition. Look out for my book: INTUITION INVOLUTION – living by Intuition for a Balanced World in 2012 and Beyond”

Changing Our Perspectives in Today’s World

June 30th, 2011

Working on my book over several months: INTUITION INVOLUTION: Living by Intuition for a Balanced World in 2012 and Beyond! has brought a number of things into perspectives for me.

First, as I worked to get everything in line to deliver contents that I know will benefit our world, I realized that no matter what i do, it is only a tiny part to helping people make the necessary changes to save our world.

Second, I recognized that in spite of all the various challenges we all are experiencing today, the important thing is never to allow your spirit to be broken. Keep your faith strong and remain vigilance, even if you still can’t see how things will change.

Third, my intuition has grown so strongly that I realized that truly connecting with the intuition and finding solutions is just a question of inner adjustments and taking the time to relax into who you really are.

We all often get too caught up in the frenzy around us and forget to attune within. Checking regularly with your “inner councellor” in the course of the day does not only help shift your  perspectives, but is also a wonderful way of remaining alert sensing the loving energy, reminding you that all will be well, no matter what!

One thing that has truly helped me over the many months when I sometimes felt that there was just so much to do and I wasn’t sure how I was going to get it all done, was to consistently remind myself that this wasn’t work, but a joyful calling, to which I said yes to.

This has been a joyful experience, because it removed the pressure that I had to do something to make everything work out. It made me realize that all I needed to do was simply to listen within and things will unfold as I trust to take the steps that my inner promptings advised me to take. Making this inner adjustment has been a great blessing and opened some miraculous doors for me to walk in.

I believe that this inner adjustment can also be applied to how we approach things happening either in our lives or in today’s world. We all can begin to help heal the cirmcustances around us, by starting to say yes to our intuition and listening more from within.

It is my conviction that our world can only be saved when each of us begin to take full reponsibility for all we think and do. This begin with Living from Intuition

My Elation, I’ve revamped my Website!

June 18th, 2011

It’s been quite a while since I posted on my blog. Now that I have managed to bring a rudimental balance to my website www.embracingchanges.com with an integrated WordPress Blog, I am ready to begin a new phase of this journey.

It is true what they say about never to lose sight of the end result of what you truly want.

A pointed lesson on the power of intuitive guidance that I learnt during the whole process of updating www.embracingchanges.com  was never to let myself be misled.

In January 2010. I Initially decided it was time to change the face of my website, but didn’t yet know how I was going to handle the change. The old webpages had over 70 pages and information and not being a techie person, I felt overwhelmed. Still I knew it was time to make a change and I wanted to do it in a way that wouldn’t eat a hole into my financial pocket!

So early January 2011, I did what many clever marketers on the Internet have long been doing, I branched out into the Outsourcing realm and found a wonderful distant Outsourcing VA, who has now helped to get everything into its appropriate order – moved website and configurated WordPress to fit what I require, moved all my blog posts from a monthly paying blog platform to WordPress, without it all costing me a bombshell!

Although we are still working on the website, it is now live and you can check it out to see the new face and updated service offers I have set up at www.embracingchanges.com

I shall be adding upcoming events to the calendar page as well as various audios and videos to support you  more.

I look forward to your comments about the new website.

Thank you

To your inner brilliance!

Spiritual Power Versus Mind Power

November 11th, 2009

The other day, something extraordinary happened at my Centre which gave me a deep insight into the excellent ways our mind works and how they contrast with the grandeur ways of the spirit.

It also reminded me that some people feel that the mind is the same as the Spirit within us. I have experienced my own share of inner queries and have learnt to differentiate between the two.

The mind is the tool we use to order our life the way we want, while the Spirit is the living power within each one us.

Today, I'd like to begin a series of writings on my blog to look into Applied Psychology and mind power in our day to day life contrasted to applying spiritual power in daily life.

I have decided to use some original texts from Warren Hilton, the Founder of the Society of Applied Psychology. Throughout the series of postings here, I shall be using some extracts from one of Hilton's writings titled: "Initiative Psychic Energy" and contrasting them with Spiritual principles and awareness.

Part 1. Mental Second Wind

Are you an unusually persevering and persistent person? Or, like most
of us, do you sometimes find it difficult to stick to the job until it
is done? What is your usual experience in this respect?

Is it not this, that you work steadily along until all of a sudden you
become conscious of a feeling of weariness, crying "Enough!" for the
time being, and that you then yield to the impulse to stop?

The Lagging Brain

Assuming that this is what generally happens, does this feeling of
fatigue, this impulse to rest, mean that your mental energy is
exhausted?

Suppose that by a determined effort of the will you force your lagging
brain to take up the thread of work. There will invariably come a new
supply of energy, a "second wind," enabling you to forge ahead with a
freshness and vigour that is surprising after the previous lassitude.

Nor is this all. The same process may be repeated a second time and a
third time, each new effort of the will being followed by a renewal of
energy.

Reserve Supplies of Power

Many a man will tell you that he does his best work in the wee watches
of the morning, after tedious hours of persevering but fruitless
effort. Instead of being exhausted by its long hours of persistent
endeavour, the mind seems now to rise to the acme of its power, to
achieve its supreme accomplishments. Difficulties melt into thin air,
profound problems find easy solution. Flights of genius manifest
themselves. Yet long before midnight such a one had perhaps felt
himself yield to fatigue and had tied a wet towel around his head or
had taken stimulants to keep himself awake.

The existence of this reserve supply of energy is manifested in
physical as well as mental effort.

Men who work with their heads and men who work with their hands,
scholars and Marathon runners, must alike testify to the existence of
reserve supplies of power not ordinarily drawn upon.

"Blue" Mondays

If we do not always or habitually utilize this reserve power, it is
simply because we have accustomed ourselves to yield at once to the
first strong feeling of fatigue.

Evidence of this same fact appears in our feelings on different days.
How often does a man get up from his breakfast-table after a long
night's rest, when he should be feeling fresh and invigorated, and say
to himself, "I don't feel like working today." And it may take him
until afternoon to get into his workaday stride, if, indeed, he
reaches it at all.

Which power is applied in this event: the mind power or spiritual power?

And how do you differentiate between the two powers?

Give your comments and set the ball rolling.

Yours for spiritual clarity & awareness

Taking A Plunge Into Web 2.0!

July 29th, 2008

For quite sometime, I have been putting off looking into the Web 2.0, but last night after a remarkable connection with some positive women, I decided that it was time I made an extra effort. After all, not only was I being bombarded left and right with emails about the wonders of this “new societal fury, but I felt I owe it to my clients to find out what the whole excitement is all about.

So what I did was to sign up with twitter and even tried to sign up with Facebook, but promptly met with my limitations! I have to inform you that  when it comes to signing up on any portal on the internet I always find myself groping around and wasting much too much time. This time it wasn’t any better. I suppose that is why I have kept putting off joining.

Change, change, CHANGE, what is that ? I asked myself. A moment of stepping in and taking control of that which you know you can become with more people involved. That’s why I have finally mustered the courage now to also move into the new era of 2.0 and I’m determined to make it work.

Great, I feel that I have made the first successful move with twitter. Now I have to go back and check what I messed up with signing on at Facebook. Grunt! I certainly hope I am able to meet some fellow tweets or Facebookers to chirp in with some clear cut suggestions.

Well, what is that about taking the bull by the horn..? It is certainly appears sometimes to be the only way to move on. Don’t you just love CHANGE, sigh!

The Power Of Inner Peace

July 22nd, 2008

The times we live in challenge us to seek deeply within our souls for answers to many issues. I have been working day and night in my Retreat Wellness Centre for women on a special project which I’m hoping will facilitate attaining more relaxation for our clients at the centre. Although I enjoy the work tremendously, it is taking a toll on me.

Last night I decided to tune in more profoundly than I had been doing recently. So I lit a candle and put on one of my favourite cds to help me relax and go within. I was amazed at the length of time it took me to fully relax and completely free my mind of various accumulated thoughts and bodily tension!

As I kept on focusing on my breathing and clearing my mind of many chatters, I began to let go of all tensions which have built up over the entire day. Then suddenly I heard myself humming to a sound I heard within myself. I kept on repeating the humming slowly breathing out and leaving out the humming when I breathed in.

Incredible! The humming intensified my relaxation and I felt a deep sense of peace washing over me as I continued. My body went into a motionless silence as I felt its weightlessness.

Now mind you I know about “toning” and I have used several background music for toning whenever I feel tensed or stressed, but this time it was different. It was as if the sound came from inside of me and showed my body the path to fully and completely release all baggage in a most simple and subtle manner.

I became an observer as well as a conduit. The humming imparted me with a sense of deep inner peace  and strength which I hadn’t been able to attain for a long time. This state of being helped to remind me that we do not have to wait to replenish ourself. It is possible at each moment and only requires conscious inner attunement.

When I woke up at 5 AM this morning, I felt rejuvenated, alert and strong. It was as if something had shifted within me and my heart was filled with love and deep gratitude.

What we all require at this difficult time is regular inner communion with our source, the spirit essence within us. It can remind us to reach deeply within and open ourself to the source of light around us and connect with it to replenish our soul and body.

I wish you love and the joy of discovering your own replenishing moments!

Successful Change Begins With A Burning DESIRE And A DECISION

February 16th, 2008

As much as we all tend to resist changes, it is a fact that change pulls us forward and helps us develop our hidden talents and intrinsic strengths.

When we are faced by a sudden change, initially we may feel overwhelmed and even panic, but once the anxiety wears off, most people begin to embrace the novelty feeling of excitement and new challenge, because it is the natural thing to do. Like most people, I have also experienced many changes in my life: some challenging, others less overwhelming. Looking back now, I can clearly recognise the power of my inner strengths which came into play and guided me to making the various transitional periods successfully.

The first innate strength is the burning desire to see things unfold the way I had envisioned and never to give up until I knew I had prevailed. This, I would say, has always been my mantra in times of any change. When you have a burning desire your soul ignites with a special passion which remains alive day and night. This passon infuses your entire being pulling you towards the realization of your goal. It is in such moments when you sense that you are guided and know beyond all doubts that you will succeed.

With that desire burning profusely inside you, you find yourself commiting to giving the best possible of yourself. This is the decision that comes with the consciousness that you have the power to turn things around and achieve precisely what you want, even if you don’t yet know how.

Every transaction in life, personal or professional, successful or unsuccessful starts with a single decision. Just think about your own life. Were you truly aware of all the things which have happened in your life up to this present time? Did you decide consciously on these things or they just happened? When you look into these inquires, you’ll realize that conscious decision is the key to any kind of success in life.

You can learn how to make wise decisions by developing skills of clear thinking and focus. It is important to make sound decisions especially  in times of changes. Indecisiveness often cause ambivalence which can set up internal conflicts and escalate into our mental and emotional state of mind.

Retaining indecisive and ambivalent feelings for a lengthy period can block off our ability to be fully effective and creative and therefore render us despondent and unhappy. People with high self image and strong self esteem are not afraid of making decisions because they know that making decisions is essential to living a full life.

Never ask yourself if something is possible or not and don’t let any lack of resources stop you in making a decision. When I decided to go ahead and start all over at the age of 56 with a new line of direction in my business, I didn’t know where the money and the other resources I required would come from, but I knew I wanted to go ahead and do what I had to do. Today, a year later, I marvel at Creation as I continued to experience miracles upon miracles at every corner I turned!

As Wolfgang von Goethe said: “Whatever you can do,or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. BEGIN IT NOW”, start where you are now and be decisive.

Taking Responsibility For Your Life

January 19th, 2008

Well, Happy New Year to you all! I wish you a most gratifying 2008 in all areas of your life

Now that a brand new year is well on its way, like everyone else I have been thinking what would be the best way to really make a conscious change in my life for this year. I realise that each one of us is at a different level of experiencing and development, but irrespective of this difference, we all yearn for the same things: love, happiness and inner peace.

Reflecting on this, made me perceive that achieving these things ought to be simple for each of us, yet it isn’t. The question which surfaced was: why not??

I believe that love happiness and peace elude most of us because we are often afraid to take responsibility for ourselves. It is always easier to expect others to do things for us or when things go wrong instead of looking within ourself and asking what we could have done better, we search outside for the culprit and point fingers.

“I would have liked to have studied, but my father thought I was better off learning a trade, or  “My family did not support my idea, so I gave it up”. These are some of the things we say and try to hide behind them in order to shirk personal responsibility. If we want things to start looking up for us, we need to stop making excuses or living in the past. Now is a good place to start. It is never too late to make a change, all it requires is to take responsibility for your life and decide to take the first step, no matter where it takes you.

The great Winston Churchill once said “the price of greatness is responsibility“. We can begin to move in the direction of greatness when we stop complaining and focus on being happy.

I made this conscious shift recently by simply cleaning up after my husband has made some mess in the kitchen. In the past I would just have overlooked this thinking that since he made the mess, he should clean it up. I can tell you, this felt good and gave me a sense of peace , because I didn’t have to dwell on the unsightful scene.

Taking self responsibility infiltrates into various aspects of our lives. It is up to the individual to recognise where it is in their life that they are either afraid to take responsibility or are being stubborn.

If your intention is to be successful and be happy, 2008 could be the year to bring all that to you, once you begin to accept responsibility for yourself and your actions.

I wish you the clarity to always know when to step courageously forward!
