Activating Your Intuition For Happiness And Success

Are you aware that the real answer to achieving balance and attaining the joy, happiness and success you so long for lies in knowing exactly what to do, when to do it and how to do it.

This may sound simplistic to you. But I can assure you it has been my experience that in order to get  great results for anything, particularly in times of changes, you have to get the what, when and how of what you want crystal clear in your mind.

This is where the power of your intuition comes into play. It has always been my innermost conviction that life was never meant to be a “battle field”- which I am sure most people are experiencing – and if this is the case, then we must have been provided with the right tool to handle our life with ingenious competence. After my near death experience in 2005, I made a promise to find a way to help people choose a much easier way to having sustainable happiness and security in their lives.

Well, I do believe that the answer came to me last year when I called to life my first “Awaken Women  International Conference“. The conference gave me some deep insights about a number of things, most especially it showed me how simple it is to find answers, when we give our intuition the priority of honour in our life. By this, I mean, have you ever felt a strong impulse to do something and you held back, only to regret not having followed through? That is what I mean by “the priority of honour” – the first place.

I have found that when people put their intuition in the first place and use it as the guideline for making their decisons and taking actions, everything runs smoothly. It is only when we start allocating our rational thinking the “guiding force” that we trip. And we all know the results of that.

We only require to listen more within and trust that our intuition knows the best answers and the most beneficial ways to go about anything. Activating your intuition shouldn’t have to be a chore as some of my clients have remarked. It ought to come naturally to us, because it is an innate way of self preservation and being happy.

Our intuition shouldn’t be relegated to the back bench and aired out occasionally.

I have found that once I have made a strong connection with my intuition, it has become my best ally, friend and tutor. It teaches me all I need to know at the right time on a deep inner level of consciousness and I am able to blend this knowing into my daily life. It has also render my life more peaceful, giving me more control of my life. When people ask anything of me, I simply tune into my intuition and offer a clear answer which may not always appeal to them but keeps me serene.

That to me is what now makes my life a success and joy.

Working From Intuition – How Our Cat Daisy Overcame Her Fear Of Eating

It never stops to amaze me how once you attune into yourself, even the most apparently difficult situation just vanishes or at least loses its impact.

I was to be reminded about the power of the intuition once again. For several months on end, one of our cats Daisy has had a small swelling in her mouth. Needless to say that this inhibited her ability to chew and eat properly without inflicting pain.

The first visit to the Vet ended with a minor operation, whereby a tooth was  extracted and the swelling cut open and stitched up. Thereafter followed 2 weeks of antibiotics which I religiously administered to Daisy. All this happened last Summer and she was back to her old self.

Late Autumn 2005, my cat started refusing food again. As I observed her,I remarked that even though she was hungry, each time she took a bite her whole body shook up and she cried out in pain! So after trying to treat her myself without much success, I took her back to our vet.

He remarked that she was in pain because she had an open wound in her mouth and once again I was given some antibiotics to administer for 10 days. When the 10 days were over,I decided to follow the antibiotics treatment with Vitamin C drops in her food. It worked. She was fine and ate again until 2 weeks ago, when I observed her looking slyly as if suspicious of her food!

Each time her food was placed in front of her, she moved very cautiously towards it but wouldn’t touch it. I checked out her mouth and there it was, the culprit. The wound was open again. What now, I thought to myself, another quick trip to the vet? No, I felt that this time I had to do something different.

There’s something you have to know. Being a naturopathic doctor, except for some life threatening injuries, I have always treated all our cats by myself right from the time they were kittens.

So I listened within and felt intuitively that I can help her get well. I prepared a mixture of Echinacea, specially to boost her immune system and added some Silicium to it to heal wound. In the past, I have administered this remedy successfully to my patients. I guess why not now for my cat.

After preparing the mixture I began giving it to her. The first day she ate a little, but refused to eat much. The following day I followed my intuition and sat next to her on the floor gently stroking her while she ate. This soothed her nerves and encouraged her that she could do it. At first she was skeptical. She backed away, but I gently brought her back to her food stroking her. She tried again and when I continued to stroke her while she ate, I could feel the tension and anxiety leaving her whole body. She relaxed and finished her food.

It’s been a week now since I started with the treatment. Here is what I do: In the morning and evening I give Daisy 2 squirts of the drops, mash up her food to facilitate eating, and while she eats I sit next to her and stroke her. It certainly works and whenever she gets frightened, I simply talk quietly to her and encourage her to continue eating by stroking her.

She always seemed to understand and followed my lead. She’s now content and is no longer in pain.

It is truly amazing how much you can learn more by listening within and following your inner guidance. This is especially important in times of changes.

Life Is Simple: Revealing 5 Proven Ways To Own Your Life

Do you own your life or does it own you?

If you’re struggling with your life, this could be an indication that you’re making your life much too difficult than it needs to be.

You’re here to live a life of joy and abundance. To experience a rich inner life of recognition and inspiration which should translate into your outer world.

If this is not the case, you can redirect the course of your life by following these 5 proven ways.

1.      Live fully in the present. Simplify your life by living consciously in the moment. The present has so much to offer you. It is in the present that you can lay the foundation for the rewards of your dreams in the future, not in the past. To do this, bestir yourself sufficiently in the right way by taking one step at a time .

To live fully in the present, you need to experience every minute of your life inwardly and not just outwardly. This means, grasping aright deeply within yourself the experience of the moment before moving on. This safeguards against taking on too much at any time and getting overwhelmed. Which often develops into struggle.

2.      Do what comes naturally to you. Get into the habit of first doing what comes naturally to you and polishing it up. When you do this often enough, in time you’ll be able to handle other difficult matters with lesser efforts.

This is because your becoming disciplined and adept in one area of your life, equips you with the necessary tools to tackle other challenging areas more effectively. The result is greater competence and deeper satisfaction.

3.      Have a heart full of joy and appreciation. A joyful and appreciating heart has no room for fear. Fear is always an indication of a sense of lack. This could be  conscious or subconscious.

I have observed that people whose hearts surge with joy of deep appreciation and gratitude feel only love. Even in the face of grave calamity, as in the case of bereavement, there are always things you could be grateful for. Like taking comfort in knowing that the you are never alone. Something I was vividly reminded of when I suddenly lost my own mother. 

4.      Move with ease into any change as a natural happening. Life is. Meaning, it is in constant motion. To own your life, you need to accept this fact. Trying to evade or to negate changes is the least smart way of becoming masterful at the game of life.

A question for you. Can you stop the sun from shining after a raging storm or stop the dawn of a new day breaking in at the end of a night? Right. You can see how ludicrous my question is. This is to underline the foolishness of wanting to control the cycle of changes in your life at any time. It simply is impossible and only results in more struggles. The wisest thing to do is to stay open for changes and deal with them when they appear. Remember the expression never to go looking for trouble, it will find you? So just be in the NOW!

5.      Trust and follow your intuition to the letter. Residing within you is a wealth of knowledge. The key to unlocking this treasure is your intuitive power. People who have learned to access their intuition before making any decision live in harmony with their environment.

My own life completely changed from second guessing myself when I truly began to listen to my intuition. I now have a sense of profound joy and clarity as I remain congruent with my values. The more you learn to trust and follow your intuition, the more control you’ll have over your life.

What you gain are strong emotional balance, mental and psychic alertness to guide you to a life of bliss and prosperity.   

As you can see, you don’t have to become enslaved to your life. For life is meant to be simple, provided you become aware of what is wrong and change it.
